It’s been a long time coming, really. I haven’t competed, or really shot this rifle seriously in over a year now. So it’s time to free up some resources and get it to someone who will actually shoot it.
This is the cumulation of a couple of years of modifications.
While I wouldn’t say it’s ‘ready to go’ – it’s pretty close. You will need to put a scope on it, and while I am happy to share the load I have been using with it – it’s up to you to create some test loads and confirm (which, logically, you are going to be doing if you are in the Precision Rifle world anyhow).
While I might pull this gun into parts in the future, I would definitely prefer to sell the whole lot, and, if you go that way, you will probably find there is a pile of extras thrown in.
Essentials:
- Left Handed Precision Rifle Rig
- 6mm Creedmoor
- KRG Stock, Arca Swiss
- Atlas Bipod, DPT Suppressor
- Heavy gun, doesn’t recoil
- Reloading Equipment – brass, projectiles, dies
- To many extras to list, and I have no idea how much I have sunk into building this thing at this point!

The Action
This started with a left handed Remington 700 – and now the only thing left on it that is still ‘stock’ is the action – and that has been modified as well.
Squared up by Greg at Custom Guns when he put the Proof Barrel on it. The bolt has the KRG Bolt Lift on it.
Trigger
There is currently a Timney Gold REM 700 trigger in it.
I also have the original trigger, should you for some reason want it.
Barrel
Proof Research 6mm heavy palma profile in a 1:7.5 twist. Greg chambered this to 6mm Creedmoor for me. It’s had a couple of hundred rounds through it at this point – far from what it would be capable of. Easily grouping better than I can shoot.
It’s been threaded, and has a DPT barrel forward, SS baffle suppressor for it. I have the Armageddon Gear can cover on it.
Rail / Scope Mount
Currently has a 0 MOA rail pic rail on it, will include what is (I think) a 20 MOA as well.

The Stock
KRG Whiskey 3 left handed Rem700 stock. Sweet, sweet stock.
I have added the ARCA Rail Forend, ARCA Spigot Mount, Bag Rider and Over moulded cheek piece. The cheek piece also has the offset spigot on it. There is a pic rail added to the side, and some more parts are included. I have the large palm grips on it at the moment, but the small ones are there.
The stock (and the action and barrel) all have a custom paint job on it.
Accessories
2 Magazines – a 10 round and 5 round Steel AWS Mag.
The gun comes with an Atlas 50. cal bipod – this is a heavy bipod that also drops the centre of gravity of the rifle. I have the spikes on it, but will come with the rubber feet. This has the ARCA rail mount on it, but comes with the PIC rail as well.
The gun will be in a Ridgeline ‘Sniper Drag Bag’ – horrible name – great bag. It doesn’t have extra pack on it – but I never used it anyhow.

Reloading
Dies
The rifle has a complete set of Dies with it – and some extra fruit in there.
Mostly Redding – there is a:
- Decapper
- Full Length Resizer
- Body Die
- Neck Resizer (with the neck collets)
- Competition Seating Die (with the pointy tip seater in it)
- Instant Indicator with Dial and adaptors (will also include the 6.5 Creedmoor die I have)
The dies are all in good condition, I can’t guarantee they have all their original parts (like manuals) with them – but certainly everything required to actually reload – as I have been!
Brass
Peterson Small Primer Brass – this has been neck turned for the gun. I still need to tweak the load – as I was originally getting pressure issues – the Peterson (having talked to them) brass had a thick neck – so required a bit of a shave.
This brass has probally had around 4 fires so far. Plenty of life in it yet.
I originally purchased this as one lot of 150 rounds, there is around 130 there.
I also have a pile of Hornady brass that was shot a couple of times and not reused.
Components
3.5 tubs powder, 350 ELX, 900 primers.
I mean – that’s probably 10k worth of primers now! 😀
$5k – it’s a bargin. Pickup, or, you figure out and cover costs to ship the thing!
