What first got me seriously pondering this question was a setup session recently, with a couple of similar rifle that had the same issue....

The Tikka T3X Superlite is a familiar firearm to many New Zealand Hunters. Take the 'standard' T3X, flute the barrel and you have the Superlite. I recently had a Strada to set up for a client and took the opportunity (with the client's permission of course) to have a bit of a play.

So, what exactly do we do when we set up a rifle for a custom? It's always different (like our customers) - but here is an example.

Both the rifles we are looking at today could be called 'crossover' rifles - but really, it turns out live at opposite ends of the spectrum.
